A company with history
With the current management, the company ZIMMERMANN Technische Federn GmbH is already in its 5th generation.
Over the past decades, the Zimmermann family has secured its locations in Leutersdorf and Dolní Podluží. A total of over 60 employees work in the company and produce technical springs at a high level. A familiar and friendly approach to employees and customers is the order of the day here.



Family-run company for five generations

1. generation (Eduard Sieber):

Founding: Around 1905, Eduard Sieber began producing spiral springs in Georgswalde, Czech Republic (Jiříkov). 1945: Expropriation and expulsion from the Czech Republic.

From 1946, Robert Wiletal, son-in-law and authorized signatory of Eduard Sieber, continued production at ERWE Werkstätten KG in Seifhennersdorf. 1972: Expropriation through nationalization.

3. generation (Robert Zimmermann):

In 1960, Robert Zimmermann, son-in-law and authorized signatory of Robert Wiletal, founded the technical workshops.

4. generation (Robert Zimmermann jr.):

From 1989 Robert Zimmermann Jr. took over. the technical workshops of his father Robert Zimmermann. In 1990 Robert Zimmermann Jr. founded with his wife Elke Zimmermann the company ZIMMERMANN Technische Federn GmbH, which still exists today. Construction of Hall 1 and the administration building began in 1998. This was followed by four additional expansions of the production halls in 2001, 2004, 2007 and 2008. 2000: Founding of Perovna Zimmermann sto (GmbH) – Zimmermann spring factory in Rumburk, Czech Republic In 2013 the location moved to Dolní Podluží.

Peter Zimmermann has been running the company together with his father Robert Zimmermann since August 2017.
